My name is Danielle, and I'm a junior at the University of Michigan. 

This ePortfolio was created to showcase the work I have done through the Writing 220 class, which is the gateway course to the Minor in Writing.

We spent the majority of the semester working through three projects. The first project was an essay about why we write. The second project let us repurpose a piece of writing from our past and take it in a new direction — I took the opportunity to write an essay on gender performance in the show Friends. For the third project, we remediated our second project into a new form of media.

From my home page, you can view all of these projects, plus some additional writing on the processes of making these projects. I also have a page dedicated to writing that was not done in this course. This ePortfolio was a lot of fun to make, and I hope it's (almost) as fun to peruse.
